Wharton Technology Conference 2007

wharton technology conference 2007

After the success of last year’s Wharton Entrepreneurship Conference, we were appointed again to handle one of Wharton’s annual conference. This time, it was the Technology Conference. The brief they gave was clear, they wanted us to make the event’s website and the event’s online and offline publications (Program guide, email mailers, banners, postcards, posters and print ads).

Our approach to the overall theme of the event is simple, if we’re going to do a tech conference, the first things that came to our minds are simple and modern layouts, with clean lines and no clutter whatsoever. And that is exactly what we did. After a few color options handed over, we decided to go with blue. Why not? It’s a nice soothing color, and we figured our choice of blue is modern enough to emphasize the conference’s theme itself.

Having an foreign client has its own pros and cons. We admire their professionality, and their keen decisions. Those are some of the factors that made us pulled this project through. But to do that, we had to work a bit overtime, but I guess when everything came out as a success, all of it was worth it.

We were very happy to hear that the conference went very good, and everybody deserved a good long break afterwards. Our thanks also goes to Allwin Agnel and Ivan Oprencak, our wonderful contacts from the Wharton Technology Club, and the rest of the team for their trust on us for this project.

To see what the conference went like, they compiled together some photos from the event which are available here.
